Bridging the Gap: Strengthening Teacher-Parent Partnerships
Education
March 3 - 7, 2025 | On the Table
Description
Join us for a dynamic open table discussion dedicated to uniting educators and parents in a common purpose: fostering a truly collaborative educational environment. This session invites teachers, parents, and education stakeholders to share their experiences and identify barriers that hinder effective communication. Together, we will explore actionable strategies to build trust and create a shared vision where both home and classroom contribute equally to student success. Bring your insights and concerns as we work collectively to bridge the gap and establish lasting, supportive relationships for the benefit of our youth and entire community.
What is On the Table
On the Table is a one of a kind opportunity to bring people of diverse backgrounds together to have meaningful conversations about topics that are important to the community. This community-wide initiative seeks to explore the ways in which we have the power to collaborate to make our community stronger, safer, and more dynamic.
Following On the Table, the Community Foundation of Central Georgia will survey participants to find out what issues matter most to them and what kinds of ideas for solutions emerged from the day’s conversations. We’ll also help to share some stories of participants to help inspire others to make a difference.
